CITY FROM UNDAGROUND 2 GANGSTA (DVD/DOCUMENTARY)
Due to the lack of radio play and video
avenues, Heat City/Seven Records decided it was time to place a
face on the Hip Hop scene. Considering there are several
labels in Vegas. Spoaty grabbed his camcorder and hit the
streets for the city’s first Hip Hop documentary.
Interviewing a variety of camps striving
to make it in the game, “Heat City from Undaground 2 Gangsta”
was born. The DVD was very successful in the streets of
Las Vegas, Reno, California, and Arizona. Securing the
label a full page write up the Las Vegas Weekly Magazine in
2006.

a great idea”, “It will educate young up and coming artist” and

SPOATYMAC "THE STREET REPORTER"
“The Street Reporter” is Spoatymac’s
sophomore project following the Heat City classic “Spoaty Life”.
The album targets an entirely different audience with
expectations to grow and diversify Spoaty’s fan base.
As a result, Spoaty has received
several radio interviews and performances thanks to the
community SUPP4T.
With tracks like “How 2 Hustle” & “Weight
Watchers”, Spoaty addresses the streets by emphasizing the
importance of hustling and how flossing can get you dead fast.
He also has a 2 Be Continued track from the “No Turnin’ Back”
hit entitled Q-Muzic.
The title cut “The Street Reporter” is a
musical story line painting the picture of a day in the life in
"Heat City" Las Vegas. The CD concludes with “If This Beat
Could Talk”, “It’s Yours”, “Can’t Beat The Heat” and “Vegas
Drop”. Going on to be one of the hottest CD to hit the Hip Hop
world!
The album not only attracted a new
audience, it also earned Spoaty the cover of the Las Vegas
Weekly Magazine the week of February 5-9, 2007. Again
creating a record for the Hip Hop community considering no local
artist had ever graced the cover. The articles content stated
“The Street Reporter” is Las Vegas’ best album ever”. The
album also open the doors to interview with KNPR Talk Radio and
Rebcast.com hosted by Balla D of FM 88.1. To date, the album has sold over 4,800 copies

joining a college fraternity, “Change the Game” a lyrically driven
cut stating how Spoaty’s style will change Hip Hop, “The Root”

**2SENSE “THE STREETS
AIN’T READY”
Deriving from the Junior High School rap
phenomenon COROC (Company Of ROCkin’). Consisting of Spoatymac
(Spoaty J. then), Emaculant (Icy E. then), Shaggiemac (MC Def
then), Ajax, K Luv, WormLoc, Q-Pon (The Scorp then) R.I.P, Capone
(A.T. then), T-Zone, JC (Scope then),
JiggSaw & Dr. Fate.
As time went on, Spoaty, Emaculant, and
Shaggiemac became 2Sense. With 2Sense being a metaphor for
being opinionated, the group vowed to touch on any topic that
crossed their minds. In 2006, the group released their third
group effort, first on Heat City Recordz entitled “The
Streets Ain’t Ready”. Due to stipulations from the other
label, the group failed to touch on the street aspect in
previous albums. So the “The Streets Ain’t Ready” project did
just that.
With the songs, “Hood Times”, “I Ain’t A
Gangsta”, “4 The Hustlas” and “Tricc Niggas” the group catches
the attention of the folks puttin’ in work on the streets. “One
2 Many” and “Prime Time Pimps” educates the lame cats on dealing with women and plenty of’em.
The CD closes with tracks like “Localized”
and “One 2 Grow On” focusing on upgrading the Hip Hop scene and
a 32 bar autobiography of Spoaty & Shaggiemac childhood years.
The streets literally were not ready for
this project. It took a 360 degree twist from the earlier
2Sense projects. Selling over 3,500 units and climbing.
The Streets Ain't Ready project received a
3.5 stars in the Las Vegas Weekly Magazine in 2006. |
